Boomer was set up and is managed by Andrew Wilkins. Andrew spent the early part of his career working as a pharmaceutical scientist where he worked for the companies Roussel, 
Pfizer, Stiefel and OSI. During this time, Andrew worked on some very exciting high profile projects including contraceptive vaginal rings, Viagra and cancer therapies.
Andrew then trained to be a teacher and since qualifying has taught learners from age four all the way through to A level. Andrew says, “I have been very fortunate in my life to have had teachers that were able ignite a spark of interest and curiosity in me which I have then been able to develop. As an educator, I consider it is my role to try to help to draw out talent, curiosity, interest or whatever you want to call it, in others.”
